NCW Issues First License for Shark Diving Experience

The National Center for Wildlife (NCW), in cooperation with the Saudi Water Sports and Diving Federation, has issued the Kingdom’s first license of its kind permitting cage diving with sharks within the Ras Hatiba Reserve.

 The license aims to promote sustainable marine tourism by enabling the observation of sharks in their natural habitat while protecting marine life and maintaining ecological balance.

 This is also in line with national regulations governing marine activities, ensuring that ecotourism is practiced responsibly and without any negative impact on the behavior of marine organisms or their natural habitats.
