Mawani Reports 10.58% Growth in Container Handling in 2025

 Ports managed by the Saudi Ports Authority (Mawani) recorded a 10.58% increase in container handling in 2025, reaching 8,317,235 TEUs, up from 7,521,306 TEUs in 2024.
 Transshipment containers rose 11.78% to 1,927,348 TEUs, compared to 1,724,184 TEUs during the same period last year.
 The rise in container handling brings multiple economic benefits, boosting trade, supporting maritime-related industries, promoting tourism and related services, strengthening supply chains, and contributing to the Kingdom’s food security.
