Ulsan Wins EWC's Tekken 8

 For the second consecutive year, Republic of Korea’s Lim "Ulsan" Soo-hoon claimed victory in Tekken 8 at the Esports World Cup (EWC). This year’s tournament took place at the Amazon Arena in Boulevard City and featured a prize pool of $1 million. A total of 32 of the world’s top Tekken 8 players competed for the championship title.

 Ulsan defeated his compatriot Yoon "LowHigh" Sun-woong of team DRX in the final match with a score of 5–2.

 The $250,000 prize went to Ulsan, who also earned 1,000 points for his team, placing DN Freecs in joint 11th position alongside Team Secret in the overall club standings. LowHigh secured second place with a prize of $130,000, contributing 750 points to his team, DRX.

 With the conclusion of the Tekken 8 Championship, the stc Arena will host the Rocket League final, marking the closing match of Week six of the EWC.
