Ministry of Islamic Affairs Distributed Over One Million Educational Publications to Pilgrims in 2025

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance, through its Madinah branch, distributed 1,060,492 educational and guidance publications during 2025, as part of its efforts to spread religious awareness and facilitate the performance of Umrah rituals for pilgrims and visitors to the Prophet’s Mosque.
The distributed materials included a range of key titles provided in eight languages: Arabic, Urdu, Turkish, Russian, Hindi, Uzbek, Indonesian, and English, to serve visitors from diverse nationalities.
Distribution points covered major reception and transit locations for pilgrims, including Prince Mohammed Bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Madinah, Prince Abdul Mohsin bin Abdulaziz Regional Airport in Yanbu, and the Hajj terminal in Khaybar. Publications were also distributed at major mosques in Madinah, Miqat Dhu Al-Hulayfah, the land pilgrims’ terminal in Madinah, and mosques west of the Prophet’s Mosque, which witness high volumes of worshippers and visitors.
These efforts form part of the ministry’s awareness plan to promote sound Islamic knowledge and deliver high-quality outreach services to pilgrims, visitors, and Umrah performers. The initiative supports the facilitation of religious rites and aligns with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 in serving pilgrims and visitors to the Prophet’s Mosque.
