The National Center for Non-Profit Sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has launched a new service called "Governance Data Disclosure," aimed at enabling all non-profit organizations to utilize a self-assessment tool for governance evaluation. As part of this service, the center has issued supportive guidelines, including instructions for registration, the evaluation process, and the forms required to be completed.
The center stated that the Governance Data Disclosure service is part of its ongoing efforts to promote self-monitoring among organizations, contributing to the development of the non-profit sector. It emphasized that this initiative seeks to enhance the governance evaluation of non-profit organizations.
Furthermore, the center highlighted several updates to the governance standards indicators. These updates were implemented to reduce the burden on organizations and help them achieve higher compliance rates. The changes include modifications to some practices and their weights in the compliance and commitment, transparency, and disclosure standards. The updates also feature the activation of the financial safety standard, which is now included in the overall evaluation rating. The center noted that the service is available to all non-profit organizations, with numerous field visits planned for organizations that have not yet been visited.
