Over 8.5 Million Electronic Transactions Processed on Absher Platform

The Ministry of Interior's electronic platform Absher processed over 8,521,000 electronic transactions for citizens, residents, and visitors through Absher Individuals and Absher Business platforms last December.
 Through the Absher Individuals platform, more than 6,022,000 transactions were completed, including identity verification, electronic renewals of national ID cards, and family member registrations.
 The General Directorate of Passports managed tasks such as issuing and renewing residencies and electronic Saudi passports, as well as issuing exit and re-entry visas.
 Moreover, the Directorate of Public Security handled vehicle repair permit services, driving license authorization requests, and vehicle registration renewal services.
 Through the Absher Business platform, over 2,499,000 transactions were processed. These included issuing authorizations, residency issuances and renewals, traffic violation inquiries, and various other business-related services.
