Saudi Students Compete at 2024 World Robot Olympiad

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is participating in the final competition and judging stage of the 2024 World Robot Olympiad (WRO) in the Turkish city of Izmir, due to conclude tomorrow.

 Fifteen teams comprising a total of 30 students of both genders from various regions of the Kingdom, supported by 11 advisors and 15 trainers, are taking part in a collaborative effort involving the Ministry of Education, the Saudi Federation for Robotics & RC Sports, Tuwaiq Academy, and Tatweer Education Holding Company.

 The Kingdom's representatives are competing in various categories, including Robot Missions, Robot Sports, Future Creators, and Future Engineers.

 The WRO is an annual global technology competition that draws participants of different age groups from around the world. The event aims to develop students' creativity, design, and problem-solving skills through robotics-related activities and competitions aligned with educational curricula.
