Darb Zubaydah Winter Festival to Launch in November

The CEO of the Imam Turki bin Abdullah Royal Natural Reserve Development Authority (ITBA), Eng. Mohammed Al-Shaalan, has announced the upcoming "Darb Zubaydah Winter" festival, set to begin in November 2024. This announcement was made during the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition.
This year’s festival will introduce a new feature: hunting with firearms will be allowed within the North Reserve for Sustainable Hunting for the first time. The reserve will offer state-of-the-art shooting ranges, providing a unique experience for hunting enthusiasts and meeting their expectations for this tourist season.
The North Reserve, spanning up to 2,000 square kilometers, boasts comprehensive services and modern facilities. Eng. Al-Shaalan highlighted that the introduction of firearm hunting and advanced shooting ranges will elevate the visitor experience and solidify the reserve's reputation as a premier destination for hunting aficionados. This addition aligns with the cultural significance of hunting in the region.
The festival will take place across three regions: Lina in the Northern Borders, Quba in Qassim, and Turabah in Hail, each offering diverse experiences for attendees.
