Imam Abdulaziz Royal Reserve Authority Celebrates Licensing of 40 Tour Guides

The Imam Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Royal Reserve Development Authority (IARDA) celebrated the licensing of over 40 tour guides who have completed specialized training programs and met the requirements for tour guide licensing in both the Imam Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Royal Reserve and the King Khalid Royal Reserve, in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism.

 In a statement, IARDA CEO Dr. Talal AlHarigi highlighted ecotourism as a key focus area aligned with the authority's strategy. He emphasized its pivotal role in promoting environmental awareness, showcasing natural beauty, and preserving cultural heritage and biodiversity.

 AlHarigi underscored the authority's dedication to empowering and training specialized national tour guides, recognizing them as essential in connecting visitors with nature and fostering environmental sustainability.

 At the event, Deputy Minister of Data and Decision Support and Acting Deputy Minister of Human Capital Development at the Ministry of Tourism Eng. Hassan Jannah emphasized that celebrating the completion of training for these tour guides is part of the ministry's efforts to strengthen partnerships for tour guide development. This initiative aims to enhance the professionalism of tour guides, standardize their practices, and empower them to deliver exceptional tourism experiences to visitors across Saudi Arabia.

 IARDA is pursuing its strategy to promote sustainable ecotourism. This strategy includes strengthening collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism and contributing to achieving Vision 2030 goals by developing the Imam Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Royal Reserve and the King Khalid Royal Reserve into integrated tourist destinations that enhance the quality of life.
