Riyadh Students Engage with UCI Urban Cycling World Championships to Promote Active Lifestyles

The 2025 UCI Urban Cycling World Championships — hosted in Riyadh and organized by the Saudi Cycling Federation under the supervision of the Ministry of Sport — welcomed groups of students from various schools across Riyadh Region at Boulevard City.

 The visits formed part of educational tours designed to raise awareness about modern sports and promote physical activity among youth.

 During the tour, male and female students explored the championship facilities, experienced the atmosphere of world-class competitions, and took part in hands-on activities at the visitors’ cycling track. They enjoyed trying out urban cycling and learning its basic skills under the supervision of professional trainers.

 The initiative comes as part of ongoing efforts to foster a culture of sport as a way of life, while giving students the opportunity to experience international sporting events hosted by the Kingdom, enriching their understanding of fitness and physical well-being.
