King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has signed a cooperation agreement with a civil society organization to implement the sixth phase of the mobile clinics system in the Saada and Hajjah governorates.
This initiative is expected to benefit 52,124 individuals at a cost of $504,000.
Assistant Supervisor General of Operations and Programs at KSrelief Eng. Ahmed Al Baiz signed the agreement at the center’s headquarters in Riyadh.
Under the agreement, efforts will focus on reducing the spread of diseases and epidemics, providing emergency health services to displaced persons, and adopting an integrated approach to develop and localize healthcare in Saada and Hajjah. This includes ensuring the availability of medicines and medical supplies, operating both medical and non-medical mobile clinics, managing medical waste, and preserving the environment.
This agreement is part of the Kingdom’s ongoing efforts, through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, to support the health sector and alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people amidst the ongoing humanitarian crisis.
