The Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) is participating as a national partner in the fourth edition of the Riyadh Global Medical Biotechnology Summit (RGMBS 2026), held from September 14 to 16 under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

Organized by the Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs, represented by the King Abdullah International Medical Research Center (KAIMRC), in partnership with the Ministry of Investment and SDAIA, the summit brings together leading international scientists, healthcare leaders, and investors to explore advances across the life sciences sector.

During the event, SDAIA will demonstrate how data infrastructure and artificial intelligence can accelerate biotechnology research, drug discovery, and precision medicine. The authority's scientific contributions include an opening address by National Data Management Office Director Alrebdi bin Fahad Alrebdi on biotech data ecosystems and a workshop on national biotechnology data governance.

SDAIA's engagement also features the rollout of the Biotech Data Regulatory Sandbox initiative in collaboration with KAIMRC, alongside signing a supplementary memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of National Guard.

The authority's accompanying pavilion will showcase national technical enablers, data governance frameworks, and core services from the Tawakkalna app supporting the goals of the National Biotechnology Strategy and Saudi Vision 2030.
