
Saudi Civil Defense Team Prepares for World Championship in Fire and Rescue Sport
The Saudi Civil Defense Team is continuing its preparations for the World Championship in Fire and Rescue Sport, which the Kingdom will host in Riyadh from October 26 to November 1 in partnership with the International Sport Federation of Firefighters and Rescuers.
Members of the team are attending an intensive preparatory camp at the Fitness and Sports Training Center in Riyadh. They are conducting rigorous daily exercises in two shifts — morning and evening — under the supervision of technical and administrative staff to ensure peak physical fitness and technical readiness for the competition.
The preparations aim to highlight the ongoing efforts of the General Directorate of Civil Defense in the Kingdom, showcase the achievements of Saudi personnel in safety and civil protection, and demonstrate their high level of preparedness using advanced equipment and mechanisms.
The Saudi team participating in the tournament comprises 13 players: Murtada Al-Hamada, Dhaif Allah Al Muhammad, Suleiman Al-Mutairi, Muhannad Al-Ghamdi, Turki Al Quraish, Ziad Al-Musaad, Hamza Othman, Abdullah Othman, Muhammad Al-Otaibi, Nawaf Al-Nafie, Hussein Al-Baraq, Muhammad Al-Amshani, and Ahmed Al-Shammari.
