
Trend Micro collaborates with TechnoVal and Google Cloud to Locally Host Vision One Sovereign and Private Cloud in Saudi Arabia
Trend Micro Incorporated (TYO: 4704; TSE: 4704), a global cybersecurity leader, has entered into a strategic collaboration with TechnoVal, a Saudi-headquartered digital transformation and cybersecurity company, and Google Cloud, a provider of secure and scalable cloud infrastructure, to locally host cybersecurity platform, Trend Vision One Sovereign and Private Cloud (V1SPC), in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This collaboration aims to deliver secure, scalable, and locally supported cybersecurity solutions designed specifically for the Saudi market’s unique regulatory landscape.
Under the terms of the partnership, TechnoVal will locally host the V1SPC Cloud platform, powered by Trend Micro, within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia leveraging Google Cloud’s infrastructure. Combining Trend Micro’s cutting-edge threat intelligence, V1SPC’s cloud-native platform, and TechnoVal’s regional expertise, the collaboration ensures robust protection and local control over sensitive data assets. This initiative directly supports the Kingdom’s national data sovereignty mandates and strict compliance with regulatory frameworks including the National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA), the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA), and other relevant bodies, fully aligning with Vision 2030’s strategic objectives.

This joint initiative was formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed at Trend Micro’s Asia, Middle East and Africa headquarters in Singapore, in the presence of senior executives from Trend Micro and TechnoVal. The partnership underscores the companies’ shared long-term commitment to enhancing national cyber resilience and enabling trusted cloud infrastructure within sovereign borders.
