Muslim World League Praises France’s Plan to Recognize Palestine

The Muslim World League (MWL) welcomed French President Emmanuel Macron’s announcement of his country’s intent to recognize the State of Palestine.

 MWL Secretary-General and Organization of Muslim Scholars Chairman Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa praised the move as a step toward justice and lasting peace, calling on other nations to follow suit. He also urged the international community to halt the war in Gaza and to support Palestinian statehood based on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
