Film Commission Participates in Saudi Film Festival 2026

The Film Commission is participating in the 12th edition of the Saudi Film Festival, organized by the Cinema Association in partnership with the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture (Ithra) and supported by the Film Commission, from June 26 to July 2, 2026. The participation reflects the commission's continued efforts to support the local film industry, empower national talent, and advance the Kingdom's cinematic scene.

The commission is supporting and sponsoring the festival while also hosting an informational pavilion showcasing its key initiatives and programs. It will present several commission-supported films competing in the festival to empower Saudi talent and expand opportunities for the production and exhibition of Saudi films.

The festival's program features more than 25 screenings of feature-length narrative films, short films, and documentaries, reflecting the diversity of cinematic productions and enriching the cultural and artistic experience of participants and visitors.

The Saudi Film Festival is one of the Kingdom's leading cinematic platforms. Since its launch, it has contributed to discovering emerging talent, highlighting Saudi filmmaking experiences, and providing a venue for dialogue and knowledge exchange among filmmakers, experts, and specialists, while promoting film culture.
