Saudi Economy Minister Participates in Bridging Gaps and Triangular Cooperation Session at G20 Development Meeting

Saudi Minister of Economy and Planning Faisal Alibrahim delivered a speech during the "Bridging Gaps and Triangular Cooperation" session at the Group of Twenty (G20) development ministerial meeting, held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
"Half of the world's population suffers from the lack of basic health services and social protection. Ensuring access to public services is the cornerstone of developing human capital, including healthcare, education, housing, social protection, and digital connectivity," the minister said.
"Inequality is among the top challenges we face in sustainable development, where the gap in opportunities among individuals represents the main challenge in improving healthcare, education, and addressing the most prominent social challenges facing the world today," Alibrahim said.
