 Agricultural specialists note that the spread of mulberry trees in home gardens has supported the rise of urban agriculture, with residents increasingly planting them in gardens and on rooftops due to their fast growth, high yield, and relatively low maintenance compared to other fruit crops.
 Farmers also highlight that affordable seedlings in local nurseries, along with knowledge sharing among growers, have contributed to the recent expansion, especially as cultivation trials have proven successful across different environments in the region.
