Over 238,000 Users Benefit from Cart Service During Hajj Season

The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque provided more than 400 electric carts and 8,000 manual carts, along with 12 carts dedicated to offering services to pilgrims exiting the state of Ihram during this year's Hajj season.

The authority revealed that more than 238,000 users benefited from the cart services this year. To ensure smooth and safe movement within the holy sites, dedicated lanes were designated for electric vehicles, preventing interference with pedestrian traffic and enhancing overall crowd management. Additionally, specialized maintenance teams were deployed to ensure the continuous and efficient operation of electric trolleys.

This initiative is part of a broader effort to enhance operational efficiency in asset and facility management, leveraging smart technologies to improve service delivery and support data-driven decision-making during the Hajj season.
