KSrelief Rehabilitates Omar bin Al-Khattab Orphan Care in Somalia
King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has rehabilitated the Omar bin Al-Khattab Orphan Care Center in Baidoa Governorate, South West State of the Federal Republic of Somalia, and distributed 280 school bags and 280 school uniforms to 280 children, as part of the project to restore and support orphan care centers and economic empowerment of their families in Somalia.
The project rehabilitates and equips orphan care centers, prepares classrooms, and provides school supplies. It also trains breadwinner mothers of orphan families in sewing skills and provides them with sewing machines, contributing to their economic empowerment. The project benefits 905 children across four orphan care centers and 200 breadwinner mothers in South West State, Galmudug State.
The project aims to improve quality of life, provide a safe environment for orphaned children, and empower their families to achieve social stability and self-sufficiency.
