CST Calls on the Public to Vote for Saudi Projects Competing in the WSIS Prizes 2024
The Communications, Space, and Technology Commission (CST) has called on the public to vote for Saudi projects competing to win the ITU-sponsored World Summit on the Information Society prizes (WSIS 2024), seeking to support national projects and achieve a sustainable and prosperous digital economy for all. CST stated that Saudi Arabia participated with 31 national projects from over 20 public and private entities. The voting is available until the 31st of March 2024 via the ITU website: (https://www.itu.int/net4/wsis/stocktaking/Prizes/2024/).
The WSIS is an annual event organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) to promote ICT projects contributing to achieving UN Sustainable Development Goals. Saudi Arabia won 13 awards and 35 certificates of excellence.
