Saudi Ambassador to Yemen Meets Yemeni Negotiating Delegation on Detainees File

Saudi Ambassador to Yemen and Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY) Supervisor Mohamed AlJaber met today in Riyadh with the negotiating delegation concerned with the detainees file in the Republic of Yemen.

 The ambassador commended the significant efforts exerted by the negotiating team, which culminated in reaching this agreement. He reaffirmed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s continued and steadfast support for the complete release of all detainees, abductees, and forcibly disappeared persons from all parties.

 During the meeting, he emphasized the importance of completing the implementation procedures, commencing the exchange of lists and records, and expediting the execution of the agreed implementation mechanism for the exchange process, in a manner that leads to the release of all detainees, achieves the intended humanitarian objective, and brings relief and happiness to the families of the detainees through the return of their loved ones.
