Saudi Eksab for International Investments Company, IDB Invest, and IDC Network, as founding partners, have launched the “Saudi Eksab, IDC Impact Fund,” with the participation of CAF - Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean, to support growth financing for private companies.

The fund will invest in established, high-growth companies in consumer-driven sectors, including food, distribution, and retail, with a primary focus on Central America and the Caribbean.

The partnership brings together complementary capabilities and expertise. As the founding investor, Saudi Eksab for International Investments Company helped establish and structure the investment platform with IDB Invest by deploying long-term institutional capital.

Meanwhile, IDB Invest and CAF - Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean contribute their extensive investment expertise in the region, while IDC Network brings its deep knowledge of regional markets, investment opportunity-sourcing capabilities, and on-the-ground execution experience.

In addition to investment, Saudi Eksab for International Investments Company, IDB Invest, and CAF - Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean, together with Valante Capital as the fund manager, will work to strengthen operational practices and align the fund’s activities with international standards.

The fund is also designed to facilitate future expansion of institutional cooperation and enable institutional investors to participate, in line with its investment approach and objectives.

This partnership brings together Saudi Eksab for International Investments Company’s long-term capital, the regional development expertise of IDB Invest and CAF - Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean, and IDC Network’s investment capabilities, providing a strong platform to expand private-sector opportunities and direct them toward areas where they can achieve the greatest possible impact.
