Pilgrims Leave Arafat for Muzdalifah to Continue Sacred Journey
Following the sunset of Dhu Al-Hijjah 9, pilgrims commenced their journey to the sacred site of Muzdalifah in an orderly manner amid a set of health and preventive measures and integrated services prepared by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.
These extensive preparations enable the pilgrims to perform their rituals in peace and security, having been blessed by Allah with the profound opportunity to stand on the plain of Arafat and fulfill the greatest pillar of Hajj.
Upon their arrival in Muzdalifah, the pilgrims will perform Maghrib and Isha prayers together, in accordance with the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace be upon him). They will then spend the night in Muzdalifah, preparing to head to Mina after the Fajr prayer of the following day to perform the ritual of throwing pebbles at Jamarat Al-Aqaba and offering their sacrifices.
The departure from Arafat to Muzdalifah marks the third pivotal stage of the Hajj pilgrims' journey through the holy sites as they perform their Hajj rituals.
The movement of pilgrims has been characterized by remarkable smoothness, a testament to the dedicated efforts exerted by various authorities concerned with Hajj affairs, all working to serve the pilgrims so that they may perform their rituals with tranquility and security.
