Riyadh Deputy Governor Honors King Faisal Prize Winners

On behalf of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and under his patronage, Deputy Governor of Riyadh Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz honored the winners of the 2026 King Faisal Prize yesterday in Riyadh, where the 48th session of the prestigious ceremony recognized pioneering global achievements in Service to Islam, Islamic Studies, Arabic Language and Literature, Medicine, and Science.

 King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies Chairman Prince Turki bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz expressed gratitude for the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' patronage and emphasized the Kingdom's commitment to celebrating scholars who advance knowledge for the benefit of humanity. He noted that the prize aligns with the nation’s directives to support those whose work serves the region and the world.

 King Faisal Prize Secretary General Dr. Abdulaziz Alsebail introduced the laureates, highlighting their specific contributions to the advancement of knowledge.

 The high-profile ceremony was attended by senior officials, members of the diplomatic corps, and a gathering of international thinkers and intellectuals.
