Mawhiba Drives a Year of Global Excellence and Domestic Growth

Over the past year, Saudi Arabia's talented youths have excelled on the international stage, securing 107 awards at 25 competitions. The King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba) has played a pivotal role in nurturing this talent.

According to a Mawhiba report on the occasion of the Kingdom's 94th National Day, remarkable success was also attained domestically, with over 582,000 students participating in its various programs.

The Mawhoop Competition attracted 37,720 students, while the Kangaroo Mawhiba Math Competition had 42,702 participants. The Bebras Mawhiba Informatics Competition and the National Olympiad for Programming and AI (ATHKA) also garnered strong interest, drawing 32,094 and 260,308 participants, respectively.

This year's National Olympiad for Scientific Creativity set a new record with over 210,000 applicants.

Mawhiba's efforts have led to the discovery of 28,265 talented students, and the foundation has sponsored more than 100,000 students.

It has also expanded its international participation, attending five new Olympiads, including the International Nuclear Science Olympiad, the International Avicenna Olympiad in Biology, the International Astronomy Olympiad, the International Specifications Olympiad, and the International Artificial Intelligence Olympiad.

Mawhiba also carried out summer enrichment programs in 16 cities and partnered with 155 schools to offer specialized "Mawhiba Classes".

Beyond its educational programs, Mawhiba has demonstrated a strong commitment to quality and sustainability, earning four international ISO certifications for: quality management, environment, risk management, and occupational health and safety.

These accomplishments highlight Saudi Arabia's dedication to fostering a culture of innovation and excellence among the youth.
