KSrelief Implements Five Volunteer Medical Projects under Saudi Amal Volunteer Program in Damascus

King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) implemented five volunteer medical projects under the Saudi Amal Volunteer Program in Damascus, Syria, from October 24 to November 1, 2025. The projects covered cardiac and catheterization specialties, orthopedic and joint surgery, plastic and reconstructive surgery, pediatric surgery, and the Saudi Noor Project to combat blindness and the diseases that cause it, with the participation of 67 volunteers from various medical disciplines.
 During the campaign, the KSrelief volunteer medical team examined 5,300 individuals, distributed 710 prescription glasses, and performed 473 eye surgeries, 106 pediatric surgeries, 117 plastic and reconstructive surgeries, 63 orthopedic and joint surgeries, 51 open-heart surgeries, and 54 therapeutic catheterizations, all of which were successfully completed.
 This initiative comes within the framework of the medical volunteer programs and projects provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through KSrelief to assist the needy and affected segments of the brotherly Syrian people.
