MWL Condemns Israeli Official’s Call for Sovereignty over Occupied West Bank

The Muslim World League (MWL) strongly condemned statements by an official of the Israeli occupation government regarding the imposition of sovereignty over the West Bank in the Palestinian territories.

 In a statement issued by its General Secretariat, MWL Secretary-General and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa denounced the Israeli occupation government’s continued disregard for the rights, humanity, and dignity of the Palestinian people. He also condemned its ongoing violations of international and humanitarian laws and norms in the Palestinian territories.

 He also renewed the MWL’s urgent call for the international community to take a sincere and serious stand to end the humanitarian tragedy facing the Palestinian people.
