HRH Crown Prince Receives Spanish Prime Minister

His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Crown Prince, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, received today at the Royal Court at Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Spain, Pedro Sanchez.
HRH the Crown Prince welcomed the Spanish Prime Minister at the beginning of the audience in the Kingdom, wishing him and his accompanying delegation a pleasant stay.
The Spanish Prime Minister expressed his happiness with the visit to the Kingdom and appreciated the hospitality and warm reception accorded to him and the accompanying delegation.
During the audience, the two sides reviewed the bilateral fraternal relations and discussed ways to enhance cooperation in various fields. They also discussed the latest developments in regional and international affairs of mutual interest.
The two sides also tackled the serious developments in the Gaza Strip and its surroundings, along with international efforts to halt Israeli military operations and address their security and humanitarian consequences.
Moreover, they discussed advancing the peace process in accordance with the resolutions of the UN Security Council (UNSC) and General Assembly (UNGA), as well as the Arab Peace Initiative aimed at achieving a just and comprehensive solution and establishing an independent Palestinian state based on the 1967 borders, with East Al-Quds (Jerusalem) as its capital.
They emphasized the importance of the international community playing its role in pressuring Israel to stop its war on Gaza, abide by international laws, and allow humanitarian aid to enter Gaza without delay.
The audience was attended by Minister of Energy Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz; Minister of State and Cabinet Member Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz; Minister of Sports Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz; Minister of National Guard Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz; Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz; Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, along with several other senior officials and the Spanish Prime Minister's accompanying delegation.
