‘Jazan Heritage in Aseer’ Showcases Cultural Fusion in Abha

In a vibrant cultural scene reflecting the richness and diversity of Saudi national identity, the city of Abha hosted the “Jazan Heritage in Aseer” event on Wednesday as part of the “Aseer Summer 2025” program under the slogan “Cooler & Closer.” The event drew large crowds of visitors and tourists from inside and outside the Kingdom.

 The event showcased the cultural legacy of Jazan Region through a live model of a traditional Jazan village, illustrating the authenticity and variety of the region’s heritage in a sensory and emotional experience.

 Multiple sections included live folkloric performances, handicraft displays, booths featuring traditional garments and cuisine, and artistic groups performing heritage dances, adding a lively and nostalgic atmosphere.

 Interactive zones for the elderly offered space to share their stories and rural life experiences, while children enjoyed traditional games and dressed in heritage costumes, reflecting intergenerational connection and the passing down of values.
