KSrelief’s Emergency Cholera Response in Yemen Reaches 34,203 Beneficiaries in April
The Emergency Response Project for Combating Cholera in Yemen, supported by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), provided medical services to 34,203 beneficiaries in April 2026.
The services included comprehensive cholera screening and monitoring activities, which led to the identification of six suspected cholera cases and enabled timely medical assessment and response measures.
The project targets areas most affected by the epidemic, aiming to reduce infection rates and limit the spread of cholera through preventive measures, including the deployment of specialized medical teams to screen and monitor travelers at air and land ports of entry.
These efforts reflect the Kingdom’s continued humanitarian and relief commitment, implemented through KSrelief, to support the healthcare sector in Yemen and help curb the spread of infectious diseases.
