President of General Court of Audit Hosts Counterparts from Oman, Kuwait, Mauritania
President of the General Court of Audit (GCA) and Chairman of the Arab Organization for Supreme Audit Institutions (ARABOSAI) Dr. Hussam bin Abdulmohsen Alangari today received several counterparts and heads of supreme audit institutions. These meetings were held on the sidelines of the 68th Governing Board meeting of ARABOSAI, which concluded today at the GCA headquarters in Riyadh. The event, chaired by Saudi Arabia, included the participation of heads of ARABOSAI member institutions.
Dr. Alangari met with Chairman of the State Audit Institution of Oman Sheikh Ghuson bin Hilal Al-Alawi, Chairman of the Kuwaiti State Audit Bureau Essam Salem Al-Roumi, and President of the Court of Accounts of Mauritania Hamid Ahmed Taleb.
Discussions centered on exploring avenues for cooperation in accounting, auditing, and professional development. The talks also addressed methods to facilitate the exchange of expertise among Arab audit institutions within the frameworks of the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI) and ARABOSAI. Additionally, the meetings explored ways to enhance collaboration and coordination between ARABOSAI’s presidency and its general secretariat to improve the organization’s operational efficiency and achieve its strategic objectives.
