National Company for Agricultural Services Concludes Hajj Season Operation

 The National Company for Agricultural Services (AgriServ) has concluded its operations for the 1447 AH Hajj season, overseeing the inspection and clearance of livestock shipments arriving through the main quarantine facilities.
 The company’s efforts formed part of an integrated operational system aimed at meeting domestic demand and supporting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Project for Utilization of Hady and Adahi.
 AgriServ’s work included implementing quarantine procedures, conducting visual inspections, diagnostic testing, and laboratory analysis of samples taken from livestock shipments entering through approved ports.
 More than 2,542,217 head of livestock were cleared after meeting all requirements and regulatory procedures, including 2,536,793 sheep, 4,404 camels, and 1,020 cattle.
 AgriServ also monitored the implementation of operational plans for public livestock markets and slaughterhouses while working to enhance their operational readiness.
 The company issued 4,068 entry and exit permits for livestock transport vehicles serving markets in Makkah, thereby improving operational efficiency, strengthening procedural safety, and curbing unregulated slaughtering.
