Aseer Region Celebrates International Coffee Day

The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture (MEWA) Aseer branch celebrated International Coffee Day, observed annually on October 1, with an event organized in cooperation with the Rijal Almaa Cooperative Association of Coffee.

The event, which saw wide participation from coffee lovers and producers, featured an introduction to the stages of coffee cultivation and the methods of preparing and serving Saudi coffee, as well as interactive activities and heritage performances.

MEWA statistics indicate Aseer Region's leadership in coffee production, home to more than 243,000 fruitful coffee trees that produce over 175 tons of pure coffee annually.

Saudi coffee is a strong symbol of national identity, generosity, and cultural heritage, a fact reinforced by the event's informative booths and heritage displays.
