Monsha'at Launches Commercial Franchise Tour in August across Saudi Arabia

The Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monsha'at) is set to launch a commercial franchise tour next month, starting in Al-Khobar Governorate from August 12 to 13. The event will involve supporting and enabling entities and aims to introduce services and programs within the commercial franchise field, in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030 goals.

In its first phase during the current year, the tour will cover five cities and governorates, including the Al-Khobar, Abha, Qassim, and Hail regions, and will conclude in Jeddah. It will then continue next year, reaching seven cities and governorates, and will conclude all its activities in two regions during 2026.

The tour's main objective is to enhance awareness and understanding of commercial franchises, including their legal, operational, and marketing aspects. It aims to stimulate expansion and investment through the commercial franchise business model, review success stories in this field, and provide a comprehensive investment environment through the participation of enabling and advisory entities, brand franchisors, and potential franchisees.

In the first phase, the tour will also feature a franchise exhibition, where over 80 brands will showcase their investment opportunities, offering more than 375 franchise opportunities. The event will include robust educational and awareness programs, such as dialogue sessions, meetings, workshops, and advisory and guidance sessions, to ensure that all participants are well-informed and prepared. These programs will introduce franchises and establish an effective communication network with prominent brands and those interested in the sector.
