Saudi Export Development Authority Organizes Saudi Services Export Tour in Oman
The Saudi Export Development Authority (Saudi Exports) is organizing a tour of Oman from December 29 to 31, part of the market access tours carried out by the authority to increase the opportunities for national exports to reach regional and global markets.
In the course of the tour, a series of visits will be made, enabling leading national companies in the logistics, telecommunications, information technology, consulting, and medical services sectors to showcase their products to public and private entities in Oman.
This endeavor seeks to increase trade between the two countries and help Saudi non-oil exports penetrate the promising Omani market.
Several leading national service companies and government entities are participating in the tour, reflecting the synergy among sectors in support of Saudi exports. This is bound to enable them to establish a strong presence in the Omani market.
Saudi services are distinguished by high competitiveness in Gulf, regional, and global markets. The value of exported Saudi services reached SAR182 billion in 2023, the best performance to date, marking a 40% increase over 2022; the figure is testimony to the significant growth witnessed by the Saudi services export sector.
The Oman tour underscores the authority’s commitment to facilitating Saudi services access to regional and international markets, consistent with Saudi Vision 2030 goals to diversify sources of income, increase non-oil exports, and support sustainable economic growth.
