AlUla Honey Event Celebrates Local Beekeepers, High-Quality Production

The Royal Commission for AlUla held the first AlUla Honey event at AlManshiyah Farmers Market yesterday, launching a unique initiative to spotlight the high quality of local honey and support the region’s beekeepers.
The event showcased a variety of honey products from local beekeepers, underscoring the commission's commitment to strengthening the agricultural sector, boosting local production, and creating new market opportunities for producers.
Visitors to the event had the opportunity to sample the distinct honey varieties for which AlUla is renowned and learn about their unique characteristics. The event also featured engaging live demonstrations, interactive activities, and a dedicated booth offering beekeeping supplies.
This initiative aligns with the commission's broader strategy to support farmers and beekeepers across the governorate. AlUla boasts over 3,000 beehives managed by 28 beekeepers, producing more than 12 tons of honey annually. The diverse honey varieties include Moringa, Acacia, Sidr, Citrus, Mountain, and Valley.
