Saudi national teams secured three bronze medals yesterday in the third Asian Youth Games currently being held in Manama, Bahrain, bringing the Kingdom's total medal count to 18, comprising three gold, four silver, and 11 bronze medals.
The Saudi cycling team earned the bronze medal in the individual road race (99.06 km), which featured 69 competing cyclists.
The Saudi Jiu-Jitsu team added the second medal, taking the bronze in the 85 kg weight class.
The Saudi judo team secured the Kingdom's third medal of the day, winning bronze in the 55 kg weight class. This achievement is particularly notable as it marks the first-ever judo medal for Saudi Arabia in the history of its participation in the Asian Games.
