Muslim World League Hails Canada, Malta, and Portugal's Plan to Recognize Palestine

The Muslim World League (MWL) has welcomed the announcement by Canada, Malta, and Portugal of their intention to recognize the State of Palestine in September.

 In a statement, MWL Secretary-General Dr. Mohammad Al-Issa praised the announcement as an important step in the right direction. He stressed that it represents a legitimate and responsible stance that supports the historical and legal rights of the Palestinian people, and is the only path to achieving comprehensive, just, and lasting peace in the region.

 Al-Issa called on all countries to fulfill their responsibility to address the injustice faced by the Palestinian people. He urged them to stand on the right side of history, support international legitimacy, and work to end the humanitarian tragedy and its dangerous repercussions for the region and the world.
