KSrelief Provides Medical Services to Syrian Refugees in Zaatari Camp

King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) provided medical services to 2,271 patients in the Zaatari camp for Syrian refugees in Jordan during the second week of July.
Last week, the general medicine clinics examined and dispensed medications to 605 patients. The internal medicine clinic examined 117 patients, and the pediatric clinic attended to 202 children. The emergency department received 199 patients, and the dental clinic attended to 137 patients.
Additionally, 172 women visited the gynecology clinic. The ear, nose, and throat clinic treated 52 patients suffering from sinus, pharynx, tonsil, and middle ear infections. The eye clinic attended to 45 patients, the cardiology clinic saw 28 patients, and the diagnostic radiology clinic served 31 patients.
Furthermore, 472 laboratory tests were conducted on 205 patients, and 145 x-rays were performed for 98 patients. The vaccination clinic administered 233 vaccines to 85 patients, and medications for chronic diseases were provided to 227 patients.
The health education department provided guidance to 68 beneficiaries, and the pharmacy handled 1,332 prescriptions.
