Tuwaiq Sculpture Symposium Launches Events, Workshops, and Artistic Dialogues

Tuwaiq Sculpture Symposium 2026 launched a range of diverse cultural and artistic activities, including workshops, lectures, advanced specialized courses, intellectual dialogues, and evening artistic experiences. The events are being held at the symposium site and will continue until February 22, under the supervision of the Riyadh Art Program affiliated with the Royal Commission for Riyadh City.
The dialogue sessions address a number of topics related to sculpture in the contemporary urban landscape, including the presence of sculptures in public spaces, their impact on the quality of the visual environment, and their role in enhancing cultural interaction within cities. These sessions feature artists and specialists who present multiple perspectives on the sculpture experience and its relationship with place and society.
The program also includes several applied workshops and advanced courses targeting diverse groups. These offer educational and interactive experiences that allow participants to learn about sculpting techniques, the use of materials, and sustainability concepts through hands-on artistic practices supervised by a select group of artists participating in the symposium.
During the evening hours, Tuwaiq Sculpture Symposium presents nighttime artistic experiences that include musical and lighting elements and performance shows. These allow visitors to explore sculptural works in a different atmosphere outside daytime hours and expand the scope of the artistic experience, enhancing the presence of art in daily urban life.
All activities are available free of charge to the public, while attendance at workshops and dialogue sessions requires prior registration through designated electronic platforms.
