Islamic Affairs Ministry Receives First Group of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Guests Program

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance today welcomed the first group of participants in the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Guests Program for Hajj, Umrah, and Visit. Under the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, 2,322 male and female pilgrims from over 88 countries across the world will be hosted as part of this program, which is implemented and supervised by the ministry.

The first group arrived today, consisting of 34 Muslim pilgrims from Uzbekistan, Vietnam, Romania, and Montenegro. Program officials received the guests at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah.

Relevant authorities completed all the procedures to fulfill the Royal Order in coordination and collaboration with the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques embassies and the ministry's religious attachés abroad. The process involved handling the selection process and providing necessary supplies to facilitate visa procedures according to a comprehensive system that ensures advanced services from the pilgrims' departure from their countries until they arrive in the Kingdom to perform their rituals.

Several pilgrims expressed their gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for enabling them to perform Hajj through this program.
