KSrelief Mobile Nutrition Clinics in Al-Khawkhah Serve over 15,000 Beneficiaries in May

With the generous support of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), the mobile nutrition clinics operating in Al-Khawkhah District of Yemen’s Al Hudaydah Governorate provided medical services to 15,364 beneficiaries during May.

 The emergency clinic treated 3,956 cases, the internal medicine clinic received 2,327 patients, the epidemiology clinic attended to 1,309 patients, and the pediatric clinic served 1,096 children. Additionally, 1,318 individuals were seen by the reproductive health clinic, 801 were seen by the mobile team clinic, and 60 cases were handled by the maternity unit. Health awareness and education services were provided to 3,451 individuals, the surgery and wound dressing clinic treated 658 people, the therapeutic nutrition clinic served 203 patients, 132 individuals visited the immunization unit, and 53 were referred for further medical care.

 In supporting services, medication was dispensed to 10,515 patients, 8,085 cases were handled by the primary healthcare section, 5,787 individuals visited the laboratory, 44 blood transfusions were performed, and 20 patients received electrocardiograms (ECGs), bringing the total number of services delivered to 39,815.
