Yemeni President of Presidential Leadership Council Reaffirms Steadfast Support for Palestinian People, Their Legitimate Right to Resist Occupation

Yemen's President of the Presidential Leadership Council Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi has affirmed that Israeli aggression persists to this day in the occupied Palestinian territories and has expanded its military operations to target Lebanon’s sovereignty. He added that it has placed the entire region on the brink of unprecedented military escalation that threatens both national and regional security.
His remarks came during his participation at the Extraordinary Arab and Islamic Summit being held in Riyadh.
He stated that the Republic of Yemen reaffirms its steadfast stance alongside the Palestinian people, supporting their legitimate right to resist occupation and establish their independent state.
He also emphasized Yemen’s condemnation of Israeli aggression against Lebanon and its full support for Lebanon’s efforts to achieve a permanent ceasefire, strengthen its national institutions, and assert sovereignty over its entire territory in accordance with international legitimacy.
Furthermore, he reiterated Yemen's rejection of Houthi practices, which have worsened the economic and living conditions in the country and the region, serving hostile expansionist interests in the region.
