Pakistan Prime Minister: Pakistan Stands Firmly with State of Palestine and its Right to Self-Determination
Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has emphasized that Pakistan stands firmly with the State of Palestine, supporting its right to self-determination, full independence, and Jerusalem as its capital within the 1967 borders.
He stressed that this is the only solution to achieve peace, ensure justice, and preserve the holy lands.
In a speech at the Extraordinary Arab and Islamic Summit held today in Riyadh, Prime Minister Sharif condemned all violations committed by Israel against Palestine and Lebanon, affirming Pakistan’s solidarity with their people. He called for an end to the escalation against them, the lifting of the siege on Gaza, and ensuring access to food, water, electricity, and medical aid.
The prime minister underscored that Israel must be held accountable for its crimes and comply with United Nations resolutions.
