Jazan Mangoes Hit Markets as Ramadan Begins

The start of Ramadan has coincided with the arrival of the first Jazan mangoes in regional markets, where local vegetable and fruit stores, along with juice shops, are already facing high demand for the fruit.
Known for their abundant yield, Jazan mangoes are priced between SAR50 and SAR200 per carton (30-45 kg), depending on the variety.
Farmers anticipate a significant increase in supply in the coming weeks as temperatures rise, bringing a wider variety of mangoes to the market, including Tommy Atkins, Keitt, Palmer, and many others.
