Makkah Police Arrests 10 Residents for Fake Gold Bullion Scam
Makkah Region Police have arrested ten Pakistani residents for perpetrating 31 financial fraud incidents involving fake gold bullion. The suspects allegedly deceived victims into purchasing what appeared to be gold bullion through irregular transactions, defrauding them of over SAR 2.8 million.
The suspects reportedly used metal pieces resembling gold to complete the fraudulent sales. They also possessed intact samples of what appeared to be genuine gold to gain the trust of their victims before disappearing.
Legal action has been taken against the suspects, who were referred to the Public Prosecution.
