Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) CEO Leads the Kingdom's Delegation at the 9th GCC Ministerial Committee for Food Safety Meeting
The Chief Executive Officer of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA), H.E. Dr. Hisham S. Aljadhey, led the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's delegation at the Ninth Meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Ministerial Committee for Food Safety, held today in the State of Kuwait. The meeting was chaired by the Kuwaiti Minister of Health and Chairman of the current session, H.E. Dr. Ahmed Abdul Wahab Al-Awadhi, and attended by the Secretary-General of the GCC, H.E. Mr. H.E. Jasem Mohamed AlBudaiwi.
The meeting, attended by Their Excellencies and Highnesses, members of the GCC Ministerial Food Safety Committee, reviewed the efforts of food regulatory authorities in GCC countries to ensure food safety and quality in the Gulf region. Attendees also discussed numerous food safety topics on the agenda and made several decisions.
