Saudi National Football Team Departs for Serbia
Saudi Arabia’s national football team coach Hervé Renard has called up Mohammed Al-Owais to join a training camp in Jeddah ahead of their departure for Serbia, part of their preparations for the FIFA World Cup 2026™️, which will run until March 31.
Renard has also called up Nawaf Boushal, Khalifah Al-Dawsari, Mohammed Mahzari, Mohammed Al-Majhad, and Abdulaziz Al-Aliwa from the Saudi Arabia B team, while Murad Al-Hawsawi and Turki Al-Ammar have been moved to the B team. Moteb Al-Harbi was excluded for medical reasons, and Ali Lajami and Hassan Kadesh were dropped for technical reasons.
The 27-player squad departs this evening for Belgrade, Serbia, where they will continue training and play a friendly match against Serbia on Tuesday.
