Joint Forces Commander Receives UN Special Envoy for Yemen

Commander of the Joint Forces Lieutenant General Fahd bin Hamad Al-Salman received here today the UN secretary-general's Special Envoy for Yemen Hans Grundberg.
The two sides highlighted the Kingdom's role in supporting and streamlining humanitarian operations, as well as its commitment to the development and reconstruction of Yemen.
They also discussed the Kingdom’s efforts to support and facilitate humanitarian operations, develop and rebuild Yemen, and establish comprehensive and just peace for the Yemeni people. Lieutenant General Al-Salman emphasized the Kingdom’s political efforts to support reaching a comprehensive solution to the Yemeni crisis.
